We have so much to celebrate in our home. This picture is some of the graduating residents in Dave's class. His eyes are looking over at me, checking me out, hehe. Last night the Detroit Medical Center held a dinner honoring the graduates. After so much hard work the end is in sight for Dave. He'd probably feel more like celebrating if it weren't for the fact he still has another 54 hours of work before I put him to work packing up our place. It was such a fun night, 2 of my cousins were in town and came to the dinner as well as our good friend Val. We were all prepared to be the loudest cheering section but we didn't have to, Dave is so loved. I think he received the loudest hollars from everyone. In fact he's so loved the nursing staff voted him Resident of the Year! Way to go Dave, I love you!

Now to brag a little about myself. This is a big feat...for the last 5 months I've been able to multitask. I say this because I honestly can't talk and walk in a straight line at the same time. Check out the picture below to see how I'm doing it.

 

Oh yes! There's two...and we are celebrating! I could go on about how I'm twice as sick, twice as tired, twice as scared, and I'm going to be twice as big but really we are twice as excited!!!
So there will be a party going on for some years to come!
